This 3-day workshop is based on concepts from Brené Brown's best seller, Rising Strong. The curriculum helps identify the narratives that form our lives, clarifying the stories we make up in our head derived from fear beliefs about scarcity and judgment. By the end, we will identify key learnings and write a brave new story of who we are and how we want to live.

These workshops require your time, willingness and focus on the work. We are exploring shame and vulnerability, sharing personal stories, and sitting in the deep emotions with others. It is important to enter these workshops with a focus on self care that includes as restful, restorative and supportive environment as possible. If you are in acute and ongoing crisis in your life, we recommend individual work first; allowing yourself time for some healing before doing this deeper group work.

Workshops are co-facilitated by Jenni Odell and DaLene Forester, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. We keep our small group sizes limited to no more than 10 participants in order to maintain an intimate, safe environment for learning and processing. Workshops are a combination of visual mediums, facilitator-introduced concepts, discussions/sharing and highly experiential activities.
You will receive a workbook of the curriculum (some events include a separate keepsake booklet) as well as snacks and drinks for breaks. We provide all supplies needed for onsite experiential activities, and we work hard to make the space comfortable, providing an open space for seating and the allowance for participants to bring any additional items they may need for comfort. The goal is for the focus to be on the work and for participants to feel nourished and supported during their time.
The Daring Way (TM) is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brene Brown. The method was developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent and lead. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings and is suitable for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders.
